Novo, I don't recall my mother ever actually trying that, but it was threatened now and then. We did have Lifebuoy bars in the house, and they had a very distinctive smell.
The males in my family, dad and my bro and I have sensitive skin and have to use Dove unscented. Don't know about the females, but I've been using Dove exclusively for probably 20 years. My bro the same, and my dad is long since deceased, but he did for years at the end of his life. I don't know if Lifebuoy is still in the market, but I never much liked the smell of it. If you were going to use it orally, Lifebuoy would leave an impression.
