As stated that was the "rumor" I have heard.

The basic structure of speculative investment is driven by RUMOR.

Hence the phrase "Buy on the rumor, sell on the news."

Those who are non investors who have not the understanding of basic investments let alone speculative investment fail to understand the very workings of same.

Evidence of this lack of understanding of how the markets work and are driven is evident in the obvious frustration and constant finger pointing of the ignorant non investor.

If someone does not have the intelligence to separate rumor from fact or the understanding of the intrinsic value of a speculative rumor and if that person has failed to do the very basic due diligence required pre investment than too bad for them.

Speculative investment is not for the weak minded or those with no intestinal fortitude.

If someone gets caught up in a rumor without doing their own due diligence then too frickin bad for them.

This investment is for the strong of hand and mind....let the weak fall to the side.

To the victors come the spoils.
