Dear CJ: Prior to this site getting up and running, our non-SI options were Yahoo! or RB. Putting aside all the games players and spammers, neither site had some of the features SI has that people really like such as the ability to send PMs and read postings 10 at a time. IH has these much liked SI features making it much more of a force for SI to contend with than the likes of RB or the zoo.

BTW, Matt (the equivalent of SI Bob) mentioned on a thread that a number of new servers had been ordered to handle the huge increase in volume to the site. I asked him on the new SUNW thread what kind of servers had been ordered and what kind were being used right now.

Ready for this? HPs right now and IBMs were ordered. No CPQ's. No SUNW's. (sigh)
