THIS IS A DARK TIME
Cletus, briefly, all of this radio station and WUCC stuff has been bashed about relentlessly in the past. Not saying that the point today is any more or less valid than it was more than a year ago. But it appears that there was considerable misunderstanding as to the facts concerning who did what when and who was or was not still in play.
Lots of the rhetoric a year ago was if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is probably a duck. Sorry! But in other words, those were the sentiments as the stock fell from the .30s and investors choked and bashers were having a hay day and I can only guess that shorters made fortunes.
In doing the infamous "DD" dance, I made every attempt to rationalize my way into believing that MD had been misunderstood and that this venture would succeed as a result of all the development put into it.
Incredibly so, even after visiting the mill and with some of the employees, I still do not see any evidence to suggest that my risk has been reduced with time. Duh! More to the fact is that it is obviously higher and possibly displays strategies aimed at doing something not nice to investors. Careful on my words here! Maybe that is just the conspiracy theorist in me. Ha!
My thought has been that with the town of Milford, the community of citizenry, Beaver County and the state of Utah having a vested interest in the success of Copper King Mining, that anything other than a legal and above board operation would be most unlikely. I mean, Utah is a state, the 45th state in the union, and they do have some semblance of law there. It's not wild wild West anymore. Kinda. But perhaps this has instilled more faith than deserved. I have noticed the Wall Street crooks and some questionable federal government issues, which should not surprise but do or did. LMAO
So, is our faith shattered like those buildings and lives in Haiti? And I only mention that as the buildings collapsed with little or no warning with a destructive force not anticipated.
I'm just disappointed in performance and borderline angry over my suspicions at this point and I know that I'm most certainly not alone. None of us like being played for fools, deceived, robed, particularly to the extent this appears to be playing out. And that is given that this news blackout hides the possible evil darkness we all fear. I mean, we can think the worst or think the best will come. We still do not know one way or the other. Kinda of like the bull in the ring, in that it's all good until that final sword thrust, or the poor beast is given clemency. Hear the trumpets!
Let's see what next week brings and let's just hope that our good faith has not been betrayed through an intentional systematic undermining of shareholder security. And let's not forget for a moment that hope is all we have right now as there is little or no substance supporting anything more than blind faith and hope.
This is a dark time because we do not have any information shedding light upon the situation surrounding our investments. Just the falling pps, share trading restrictions, no IR PR BS, and certainly no on going confirmations on production prior to the mill shut down this winter. Whatever happens, as shareholders we must hold the BOD fully accountable for their business decisions and management practices. "We" being the collective shareholders who may JUST SHOW UP.
Yep, a dark time..............
