G1 I am in to this more then most... For reason I will not state on a board. I wish that this thing would do some good but reality is that over a year ago we tossed the last bits of dirt on this as we walked out the door. I have 1st hand knowledge of the fall, attempts to prop it up and the reality that promises made had been broken. I talk to several of the former board members (and they are all former) and executive team. There is no activity around Softnet. It remains a shell sitting out there amongst several more shells, making it's value again $0.
As for the website, the service was turned off ages ago. Creative hosting is a friend of a former SoftNet employee in Atlanta. The Domain name is still owed by a former SoftNet Employee and will expire in 2010. Check GoDaddy, you can find it, maybe he can shed some light.
DG is a great guy and following SEC guidelines. Send an email to one of the former Execs at Softnet... see what you get back.
