PK, given your posting history and prior antics, it is more than a little hypocritical for you to comment on anyone's "tone".

#22299 RE: PKpower #22297

I'll use my one post to say that while I appreciate the discussion and insight into the music industry, I am not inclined to jump up and down like some of you are doing for Wayne Rosso. While he obviously has experience, it is my opinion that he has worked tirelessly to try and destroy any chance of Qtrax succeeding. Why? I'm not sure whether it's jealousy or pure hatred for AK. But the lengths he has gone to write blogs, investigate his travel habits, and other ways of destroying AK's image in the industry (I know, he has done that on his own, right?), is bothersome to me.

For one, if he really thinks the model is so flawed and it can never work, why would he spend time trying to destroy the chances. Even if it DOES fail, it is a positive step in the industry. Concepts need to be tried and they need to fail to push the limits and see what works and what doesn't. It's how an industry grows. He should love the fact that a model is being tried and even if he wants it to fail, at least it's moving forward.

Secondly, the way he has trashed AK is purely dirty business. It's a disgusting way of trying to prevent someone else to succeed- putting out information and trying to sway people to steer clear of someone. Again, this makes me think that he really does fear something about the business model- although he would never admit it and I understand the issues that he explains, it undermines his belief that it will never work. He would be better served to let it launch and fail on it's own- not try to bring it down before it ever leaves the ground.

It's my opinion that the reason he reads this board and writes this stuff is because he knows people read it and he will do whatever he can to keep Qtrax from launching. Dirty, Dirty.
But, Wayne, thanks for the music biz history lesson. It was interesting to read.
