You are exactly right. I personally prefer companies who increase liquidity by issuing stock dividends because it rewards those shareholders who are currently on record, as apposed to dumping shares on the market. As small companies grow, you want to have enough liquidity to avoid massive low volume swings, but not so much dilution that you become easily manipulated. Good Luck!
