The primary purpose of the handgun is for home protection and carry (mostly carry).
On rounds, yes, the loads and design has really improved. I'm a fan of HydraShok (spelling?) in my .357 revolver.
I had never heard of the Dae Woo before this and will definitely look into it. Also, I will reconsider 9mm versus .357, as I am used to the .357 rounds in my S&W revolver and based on your recommendation.
