I would think he used it as a selling tool and not fluff, even though it may look like fluff. I am hoping that this means the L2 is near and that he has enough confidence that it is near to issue a PR inviting Stockroach subscribers to use the product. But that is just hope for now...

I think Ben realizes the need to attract as many potential RT subscribers as possible and took advantage of the Stock Roach profile of INIX to announce a promotional discount to all subscribers.
Good business sense, imo. RT will have more eyes on it as a result, I believe.
