But you are wrong with respect to Indian oil companies and their deepwater experience. They have aplenty (until Charlie they held the record for the deepest drill). But I was not comparing them to the majors.
My point was that they bring this experience and knowledge to any tie-up with Sonangol, which has none. ....and having "non-operating interests with IOC" does not constitute such experience......Nor does having an office in Houston count either...(really!!!).
With regards to any Indian/Sonanagol STP/EEZ involvment, I clearly stated that I saw that as a possibility which would not surprise me.
I was being literal, not cute.
