I don't think anything sinister. I had been on his calls long before Petro Kansas stuff, and he has lots of connections. None of us have a clue.

Anyway, if he is arranging all of this I am sure there will be a "fee/commission/etc" with regards to this strip/coupon item.

And yes, I have read that securities can also have strips/coupons. In fact there are brokers that deal in them for the investor -

I remember the day when the tax preparers kind of made "jests" of "little old ladies clipping their coupons from their stocks" - - - - so ;-)

thanks, I really don't have to wonder what's happening here. Most here aren't real keen with my previous conclusions. Just trying to see if it somehow made any more sense than it did before. It doesn't.
