no. once the signal is generated its a valid signal. if the ndx doesnt close within about 5 pts of the high it would be a rare failure for the COTH in an uptrend. it is more common for teh COTL to fail in an uptrend, but failures overall only happen about 20% of the time. another way of saying, it is accurate 80% of the time
