The other announcement we could get is
QMC proving scalability of QD for mass production.
Along with that, I would think they would show
the efficiency of the QD, that it is above the
benchmark of 6 percent, which would make it
commercially viable.

Regarding the efficiency, you also have to take into consideration the production conversion rate, which is claimed 90 to 95 percent. That means more functioning QD per batch, which could affect efficiency. Efficiency tests are not perfect. They test at "peak sun" with artificial light. Hague can stack the deck with tuned QD to peak Sun and blast through efficiency tests. How great would that be! Squires has spoke about the theoretical advantages of QD in his article. It is amazing how many studies and papers from so many scientists are on these QD and nanoparticles. The difference seems to be the scientists are working to increase general knowledge, and Solterra is working to commercialize it. Squires has also talked about the variety of QD that QMC would be able to produce - tuned to frequency from infrared to ultraviolet, plus thermal sensitive QD. That's just from the CdSe QD. They are also looking at other chemical formulations. It's all about the QD!
