And as far as Washington giving those "vultures" a windfall? Those vultures as he says gave those that wanted out a set loss instead of a possible 100% loss! If it was the case that once a company was in bk that those that sold could no longer lose money, why allow trading after that point? The only thing you would do is cause a guaranteed loss for anyone that purchased those securities. It's all about risk vs reward and you know what Buffet says "Buy when others are fearful".
I could definately see a class action lawsuit by post-siezure buyers if they only gave settlement monies to pre-siezure holders as it should have been halted during upon the bk if they are going to say "these guys can't lose money, but you guys buying can"
