The Kindle is currently $279 and the price may decline due to component costs reduction and increased media purchase to subsidize. This is a single purpose device which it does well. The aapl iTablet will be north of $500 plus monthly data charges which kindle owners are not subject to.

Kind of sounds like it was made for use with iPhones. Even delivers the book wirelessly to the phone.

So, while it doesn't invalidate what you say about it not being designed for postage stamps, it was designed for iPhones.
