Interesting they may consider some of the preferrd's as creditors. I have always been intrigued by the nature of these prefd's being ADR's ie foreign companies trading thru Lehman. To this day, I have never been able to determine what foreign entities these represent. Holly Dice couldn't tell me, Bank of Mellon couldn't/wouldn't, and the SEC (edit) just referred me to the archives. I do know British Telecom issued ADR's thru Lehman. Maybe with the nature of our preferd's, this could be an indicator why they may consider some as creditors. It sure would be nice to know who these foreign entities are/were, and if they are still actively trading on their home exchanges and are still in business, then surely logic would tell me there is value here. It will be nice to have more clarity over the coming weeks. Balance sheets, reorg plans, let's get rolling. I'm ready for the storm!
