You are correct. Continental Fuels was the branch responsible for transporting, storing and selling the fuels. HTOG was the development and collecting branch. Both of those businesses are now defunct and have not operated in the state of Texas since 2008. UPDA , traded under UPDV, is not licensed in teh state of Texas therefore they cannot operate under their own name without being licensed. So if the divisions they had licensed to operate in that state are no longer in business, then UPDA is not doing business in that state. I know what the ETrade and the Scottrade boards say about Heartland. I got my information directly from the Texas Railroad Commission which is the regulatory body in the state of Texas that is responsible for all production, transportation and sales of oil and natural gas. I have posted all the information I was able to uncover. I would be very happy if somebody else would contact them and verify this information. I have still been unable to find anything in the state of Kansas but I fear I will find similar circumstances.
