Scott explained the operation of the VR on the white board and how the coding of the VR would drop out about 4 other products which are part of the VR code.
He also told us the stories already posted about demonstrating to an outside agency the ability of the cobbled together VR to reject attacks by a whole CD full of nasties, and how they went into a chat room of hackers and challenged them to infect the computer.
That was actually a pretty amusing story.
The bottom line was that after hurling insults at the hackers, and shutting off their firewall, no attacks were able to get to the registry of the computer.
This was the first time I had actually heard someone from inside the company talk about the effectiveness of the technology.
It was also the best description of how the technology works and why OSR is required for the coding.
I also believe OSR has already invested some of their own Bid & Proposal monies to get ready for the coding phase, and are ready to go as soon as funding arrives.
