Nothing to do with MMs or manipulation by MMs. Traders are not buying into this PR which is why we're not seeing anymore buying pressure. It's retail buying and selling, not MM manipulation. What many don't realize is that NITE, HDSN, and the others are just brokerages that the average joe trades through.
It does not have to be that complicated.They can only short your shares if they are held in a "margin account". Just keep shares you do not want to be shorted without you permission in a "cash" account.
Most brokers ask you how you want them held? You can have both types of accounts.
