According to the NY Daily News, the Mets are suing SpongeTech for $400,000 in bounced checks plus $2.3 million, the rest of the advertising contract they have with the team.

I know some people will claim they sold shares to get this moeny, but most sane people know better.

why lie to the Mets?

and why bounce 400K in checks?

if there were contract issues .. real companies settle the problems by settlement or court

since spongy's settlement was lying .. it left the mets no choice but to sue
