I remember the answer on outsourcing limits and Jerry said that it wouldn't be a problem, but the board discussion decided this was vague, it could mean the limit is gone or it could mean AMD didn't have plans to outsource more than 25%. I got the impression that the limit was still there, but that they didn't need to outsource that much. This was during the .13 shrink when the company wasn't being too honest. They were paper launching everything and acting like everything was great, but things were falling apart.

I personally think the limit still exists, but the loophole always was that if you owned part of the Fab, you could make that percentage more of processors. I think if AMD is that successful that they are hitting that limit, they will just invest a few bucks into the Charter Fab. If they are selling 2 to 3 times the processors they are now, they will have some cash to invest.
