Fred: That may be your personal interpretation however, the article specifically mentions the digEplayer and since the digEplayer is the only existing product, it seems clear that is the device for which they licensed Ittiam's platform.

It's possible that the Kino platform also licenses Ittiam's technology. I don't believe e.Digital has any proprietary video technology of its own.

MOS is simply a management system for flash memory files. It has no benefit in hard disk files.
