When ever I think of fertilizer bombs the Oklahoma bombing always stands out; for the sheer destruction it was right up there. Of course the Beirut incident was huge loss of life. The plot uncovered to blow up the Prime Minister of Canada found a massive load of ammonium nitrate intended for the parliament buildings as I recall. Pakistan has seen it fair share of these explosives as well. Point is the detector is needed world wide.
Pretty amazing no other company could distinguish between the two nitrates until Identa but that is the other reason IMO. It's an in your face fact to the other detector manufacturers as if to say beat that buddy.
Interesting development and even more interesting to see who this federal agency is who requested Identa's ALERT nitrate capability.
