#1526 RE: Trade Ideas #1524

I use Trade Ideas in the same manner as a High of Day/Low of Day market movers list, similar to what is available with Scottrade or Etrade Pro. The only alerts I use are new high and new low. I have a list of stocks from 500-1000. This list has been generated from backfiltering stocks that had the highest volatility over the most recent 4 week period, over a time span of one year. It is a high quality list. Since I am not using too many alerts, you must be suggesting that I have too many stocks on my list.

I am looking for that one stock that explodes during the day off of news. This stock will show a rapid 8-10 alerts on 10-15x+ volume. Do you have a better way of finding these kinds of stocks? If you do, please advise. For you to suggest that the noise to signal ratio is high is to not understand how I am using TI. The beauty of TI is that I can customize it to alert only to stocks that I want, and filter the price and other parameters. I can see the volume at the same time as the alert which saves me a lot of time.

One thing I want to point out is that what I am asking for is really simple. I am not asking for a new alert that requires a programmer to write it and tweak it. I am asking for a cache change. Using the current settings of 1000-1500, I get about 5 minutes of alerts. Having 10,000 alerts will allow me to go back "in real time" to find alerts that I may have missed beyond the last 5 minutes. If "real time" alerting is important to you, then please know that what I am asking for is important for real time alerts.

If you don't want to do it, fine. But to tell me I am "drinking" more alerts than I need, without first taking the time to understand how I use the alert system… is a bit unfortunate. My system is based on a momentum trading strategy developed by Bill "Muddy" Milsted http://tinyurl.com/y9zwmf5 . I have developed a way to use Trade Ideas that adapts to his methodology. It works, and he has trained hundreds of traders. I have brought Trade Ideas into the mix. You can read about my complimentary post of Trade Ideas here:

Here is a post where Muddy compliments me on my ability to alert momentum stocks. I use Trade Ideas to find these alerts http://tinyurl.com/ygyxq9h

I have nothing but positive things to say about Trade Ideas. But your answer gives me a negative impression of you.
