#4013 RE: plastipunk #4012

Eight months after claiming "2006 is a go-to-market year for us. We plan to substantially expand our sales and marketing activities", the guy in the 54 second video gave us this....

“We are very excited about our future opportunities utilizing the family of ElectriPlast™ materials and feel fortunate to be working with Integral to bring this patented technology to commercial success.

Integral and Jasper will work together, to bring to market products that will meet and exceed the needs of Jasper’s customers. Jasper has an excellent reputation and brings a strong sales force to the equation which will begin to identify new business opportunities for the ElectriPlast™ technology throughout North America. We at Integral look forward to further business with Jasper Rubber.

Four years later, the "excellent reputation" ain`t quite so excellent any more.

Products= 0
New business opportunities= 0

Then, two months later, this same guy gave us.....

"We believe the potential of this large scale agreement combined with the future opportunities of ElectriPlast™ materials will not only provide a new area of direction for Jasper, but will revolutionize the electrically conductive materials market.

The execution of this manufacturing agreement places Jasper squarely in the middle of potentially, one of the largest technological advancements ever to occur in the rubber and plastics industries, and we are proud that Integral has selected us as their worldwide manufacturing partner.”

Jasper Rubber, founded in 1949, is a leader in innovative rubber and plastics development. They manufacture a full range of products for major appliance, oil filter, and automotive industries. Jasper’s client base includes Fortune 500 companies."

Did someone forget to tell him that 2006 was the go to market year? It is now 2010 and they still have not gone to market. What happened to the meet and exceed the needs of Jasper`s customers part. Not a single product, not a single contract. What happened to all those opportunities?

Instead we began the excuse of the month program.

We need new machinery.
We need more capacity.
The new machinery needs to be modified.
The market is really bad right now.
Tommy is too picky.
We don`t have the right lab equipment to test properly.
We need more tests.
We need different tests.
We need a communications director.
We need a sales consultant.

We`ve been in business for 50 years. We have a customer base of 600 in numerous industries. We have a sales staff. We have an engineering staff. We have an A2LA accredited laboratory. Our management is on record claiming it works, so it has to be our fault....not the product. Hey Doug, what WAS the name of that product?

Enter Mo (and his nameless, faceless team). All the Kool-Ade drinkers are making the same claims about Mo that they were about Jasper four years ago. The same claims. But this time it`s going to be different. A new broom. Yet six months later....nothing.

What happened to those 5-6 licensee`s. What happened to those 43 prototypers? What happened to those 350 NDA signators? Is Mo picking up where Jasper left off or just wiping the slate clean and starting new?

Where is this communications director? Does he only answer phone calls from Royal Wrongs? How about an update on all those opportunities that just don`t seem to be able to turn the corner. Or is he still working on the next excuse of the month?
