Are you serious?
A patent to cover the Dazer Laser in general would
be more complicated than the Dazer itself.

My educated guess would be they applied for patents
that cover crucial parts of the Dazer.
Therefor making it impossible for anyone to duplicate.

Do you have an educated guess?
