2) it's distinctive, so there's no reason to change it

but ... in your signature block, you can change

by adding a "/" in front of the lower case "i" in brackets, like this "[" + "/" + "i" + "]"

(edit: I'm referring to the brackets FOLLOWING your name.)

As I say, it's distinctive as it is, but I thought it worth pointing out to you.
