FIRE THEM ALL !!!!

I think it was the last major Baseball strike when rafts and boat loads of Cubans hit the beach in Fla.

I didn't understand why they didn't let the Cubans play some quality Baseball before they sent them back.

I would defiantly pay full price to see that!

While they were saying, "Gee, where do we find ball players to take the place of the strikers?", it was raining Cubans.
Go figure lol

TRK. You asked........

Speaking of criminality, several questions:
1. What do you think about the liklihood of a baseball strike?

The fact we are even faced with one.
The fact they didn't say during the off season lets get this done before the season starts or we just don't play.
Tells me both sides don't care a bit about us.
They are almost already on strike imo.
To answer your question I think no.
But even so a lot of damage has ALREADY been done.

2. How much do you think an adult should earn for playing a kids' game?

Funny you should ask that.
I have said for years that each sport should have two sets of pay level tiers.
One based on years in the game.
The other based on performance.
It would take me a very long time to go into detail.
You will just have to trust me I have it worked out.
Lets put it this way.
Right now top level would be $300,000 for senior tier level of years playing the game.
Under my system all families would be able to go to the ball park.
They could all afford to eat their dinner there.
Because if I was in charge the vendors would have profit levels.
And the staidium people could only charge so much rent.

EVERYTHING would be controlled cost wise so America's game could be returned back to AMERICANS!!!

3. How important are professional sports to the great scheme of things?

I think they are important. Helps releive stress.
Society loves to root for the underdogs.
Example......The Chicago Cubs! LOL!
Are sports important to the point they have been brought to now? NO!!!
They have ALL lost their minds!
All owners and players should be required to work with people like me at the jobsite for a week.
Reality SLAP!

4. Should taxpayers be held hostage by the threat of a team in a sport on which the players and owners make millions?

Absolutely not!

5. Should they be allowed to change cities as often as they change their underwear (yellow=front, brown=back)?

Four and Five questions wouldn't even exist with my answer to question two. That is the bottomline.
The players demanding the money.
The owners stupid enough to give it to them.
FACT! If the owners weren't going to still make money off of parking, food, tickets, cable, etc. They wouldn't be handing out this kind of dough.
Guess who gets it in the shorts? US!

So if their blackmail doesn't work they move.

6. If they go on strike, will you attend any more major league baseball games (assuming that you might go now)?

Absolutely not. This will be the final straw.

Though I will admit this.

I wanted to take my kids to Safeco field at least once this year.

They have never attended a game before.

I haven't attended any games yet.

Combination of the strike hanging over the fans head and all the steriod crap.
Salaries out of control.
It is hard to just go enjoy a game now.
I still watch on TV. But nothing like I use to.
I love the game of baseball. There is no other game like it.

PS. The reason I could never become President is because of my answer to question two. I'd be shot first day on the job.

Steinbrenner and A-rod would be fighting over who gets to fire first!
