When you say flip what kind of shares are you flipping 50,000 - 100,000 at the most per day. Not enough being traded to really flip for any amount of money. The real money will be made for the longs. Even if you are flipping daily you cannot tell me you always flip for a profit. If reading a penny stock chart was that easy everyone would flip. You may flip for a 10 or 20 dollar profit once or twice but in the end you will lose.
