exactly. from my experience when you have a board with nothing but talking and a basher shows up it is time to think about buying. They will become more agressive and multiply. As the PPS increases, then they will start to go quiet. When the PPS levels out and it starts to reverse they will come out in flocks to pump themselves up with the "I tried to warn you" line and then fade away till the next start to an uptrend.
This is really noticeable in the pinks because the PPS can be stuck for a long time and then suddenly make a move up to start the process. The sudden drops will build more "I lost my ass on this stock" bashers.
The funny thing about this is most of the real good bashers have alternate accounts for their pumper profile. If you are good you can identify both LOL. Try looking for that pumper that never seems to be around when the basher is tallking LOL
