I can see the huge end of day buys, but what i don't get is why are they buying these huge blocks higher than the ask?

huge inflated means: Deliberate price driven to bargain, then purchase by MM's or their associates of "sorts" who then make it possible to make these 20% increases pretty much every day as we watch and wait for some bit of realistic good news to actually have the price increase and for us all to take part in a rally.
