Definitely a good sign, and I wouldn't be surprised if these investors are institutional or fund managers. I used to work for a hedge fund so seeing a buy like this from a fund of any size wouldn't really surprise me.
Asset managers are so diversified and have a lot of liquid capital they can use at the spur of the moment on what they think will be the next big thing. Obviously now it's homeland security with government involvement. Not to mention that Identa is vertically integrated in marketing it's products to the everyday consumer as per the drug kits. Whether a company reports or not isn't the idea for funds, but rather seeing something tangible is all the evidence they may need to make some interesting investment moves.
We all know 50k is a drop in the bucket for most hedge funds, so if some of these buys are indeed institutional, you can bet they're going to be sticking with it for a while as they probably foresee some terrific future potential and returns.
Maybe $1 someday? It could happen with Identa IMO, pennies definitely in January with the reporting at least.
Anyone interested in doing a new poll now or keeping the same predictions from Dec. 22nd??
