From PR 11-19 at VSPC website.....Due to the fast-growing nature of Giant King Grass and the Company's plans to propagate seedlings that could result in geometric increases in plantings, VIASPACE believes it can support the development of up to 25,000 planted acres. Included in this plan are potential projects for 2010 involving 5,000 acres that would be projected to annually produce 200,000 tons of Giant King Grass pellets,which could be sold for $20 million.

as I read it 5,000 acres = 200,000 tons per year??????
200,000(tons) divided by 5,000(acres)= 40 tons per acre??

250 acres x 40 tons per acre = 1000 tons?

I thought the live trial was for 3 consecutive days, thought I read this somewhere. Also remember somewhere they went into more detail about tons per hectare but can find it at the moment. will do more research.

300 tons per day x 3days = 900 tons? That would be enough for the trial.
