Click on the Tools tab in the upper right hand corner and then click on my settings tab. From there you will see the auto refresh setting which will be set to True. Toggle that setting to false. You might want to set aside some free time to look over all the different features in the Tools section. There are lots of features that are user configurable including layout, color, etc.
