Uninsured young people - I would submit that jbog/oakes/pgs are arguing about angels on the head of a pin -g-:

Obviously anyone would buy insurance, no matter how indestructible they thought they were, if it were cheap enough. So it is reductio ad absurdum to claim everyone wants insurance. And it is equally false (although I can't think of the fancy latin name -g-) to claim that since there is a large contingent of uninsured in the 18 to 25 bracket that they 'want' to be uninsured.

Obviously 'want' is the wrong metric - I'd suggest that a more productive debate would center on societal consequences of not insuring the young. And I would suggest that this is the primary problem with this entire health care debate - the complete lack of facts and data on tangible and unambiguous metrics with apple to apple comparisons.
