I don't agree with that statement at all. IMHO, I think what tends to happen at times is someone makes a remark about a particular company (or a comparison) in which the person making the remark is not nearly as familiar with that particular company as others on this board. This can ruffle feathers because those that understand the mechanics of the particular company in much more detail get frustrated that a comment can lead to an unwarranted selloff. Due to the amounts of money some have invested here it understandably gets emotional. As long as the negative comments are made with good intentions and they can be debated without name calling then its all good. In the end we all hope to gain more understanding by looking at the various viewpoints.
There are many here that are not well versed in China small caps or investing in general and blindly buy/sell based on their trust in particular posters. You can say, well tough chit, they should do their own DD, but many here have other occupations/skillsets and don't have the time or ability to gain this understanding, however, they are smart enough to realize paying someone else to handle their account is a waste, unless of course you get a JoeNatural who can work his magic :) There are now over 630 board marks, most are lurkers and they are likely pumping in major $$$ into these popular names and helping everyone make significant gains.
