Death is a good motivator. You are what you eat and your kidneys keep. I had become a little sloppy about my eating habits. I was having medical issues. I had a choice. Shape up or die. I decided to live a while longer. Good healty food is actually cheaper than junk food especilly when you grow it. Taking some herbs to depress the appetite also helps keep the weight off. Generally speaking less calories means you live longer. Now with half of the population obese, drunk, or a druggie and free health care there will be no discipline. People will expect doctors to protect them from their own stupidity. And we will pay and pay and pay and pay and pay and pay etc. I think the next step for the communists is to take over the police. When you screw the people you just might need protection from the people. Castro has a system of secret police and informers that might be used here.
