Hi J, An interesting indicator, that RSI Extreme. After a fashion it might be similar to my Speculation index. That is based upon the percentage moves of the best and worst stocks in Value Line.

Right now it takes only a 5% gain in the last 13 week to get a stock listed on the BEST list in V-L. It takes a whopping 68% LOSS to get it listed on the WORST list. This shows extreme imbalance. Even the very best stock in V/L for the period is only up 66%. Here's what the imbalance look like in graphic format:

Note that the very low value for the Best Performers right now is lower than last Fall's, just like with your new indicator. It's these values that create my Best/Worst or Speculation index.
