I believe the reason for the r/s is to make price more attractive for potential investors. The fact that they announced the r/s in their 8k and 1 month before the actual date possibly means positive results from the Duke study. IMO I think they will release results before the r/s date to increase price. Yes, most stocks suffer after r/s but i think this will recover nicely if positive results.

That all depends on the price. I qould rather have 10K shares that go up .1 then a million going up .0001. It is all a matter of price. To be upset your $100 worth of .0001 stock is now $100 worth of .01 stock is stupid.

I understand the idea of a .0001 stock going up 1 tick is double your money and a .1 stock going up a tick is next to nothing but that is not what we are talking about.

Either way I agree with you that if you could sell now would be the time. But you cant sell a million of anything with no bid. That is why they need a RS so they can move one way or the other
