I don't have health insurance and dropped coverage four years ago. Never had a claim and I think it's a waste of money. If something happens to me, care can't be denied. I'm not a fat, obese slob like the rest of America and I exercise regularly. Got tired of paying higher premiums to line the pockets of insurance executives and doctors. Create a fair system and I'll participate. Until then, screw it ..........

The way I see it from Europe is not that more people will be covered and that this costs money but that US doctors and ensurers abuse the current system for their own benefit. Doctors do a lot of unnecessary tests just to line their pockets and they earn much more money than they deserve.
