How can 51.5M units be considered bad? At 16.6% market share, that's over 8.5M CPUs from AMD not counting servers, which could be another 300-500K. Too bad AMD probably can't make quite that many, because the bin splits (and therefore ASPs) of their inventory that will have to be sold to fill the gap, they aren't as good as the binsplits from current production.
BTW, he lowered his shipment forecast by less than 1/2 %. Would any analyst bother trimming a tenth of a cent off an AMD or Intel earnings forecast?
