...actually, I agree.

But I don't know if folks who owned the stock (at one point) could get the divi's later on if they sold (unless the rules state they could receive the divi's if they owned ON or before the ex-date).

If someone owned stock when the divi was suppossed to be given and they no longer own the stock i would think they are still entitled to it.

Maybe. But people who did NOT own it then (in 2005) would NOT be eligible.
