I urge everyone to read the sticky note before you post. If you have something concrete to say about the lawsuit by all means post it and provide a link to a news article or reference to the suit to back up your post.

Posting Go Wamu simply doesn't cut it and the posts will be removed as off topic either by a moderator or IHUB admin.

Feel free to post about Tarp as JPM was involved in that or the state of banking in general.

As for my personal investments I do not own JPM so you can stop with any reference to losing my savings.

For disclosure purposes I saw this disaster coming and bailed on equities in the fall of 2007 when REITs started to going south. My investments are only dividend yielding stocks and pimco Total Return.

And as I have previously said the seizure of Wamu caught me by surprise from what I read at the time. ie. The MOU signed by Wamu did not include raising capital.

In my opinion the FDIC does not seize banks unless there is something materially wrong. JPM could not have known that despite what Wamu shareholders think. But that is why there are lawsuits in BK Court.
