Nice post...for me the question becomes failure modes. Obviously a technician can over radiate a subject but ist there not a failsafe device as to how much radiation can actually be outputted for a given session? I heard of buzzer or warning indicator. If not looks like an opportunity for adjunct invention :-). Also since a switch is controlling the the emitter is there a failsafe within that switch to prevent it from failing closed?
