Better limit fills are called "Price Improvement"... please take the time to look it up...

You probably also want to research "The Manning Rule" (IM 2110-2)which went into effect November 11th...

Only limit orders are allowed on Pink Sheet stocks such as EXPH.

No market orders.

As to other exchanges, brokers have always encouraged me to put in market orders so as not to miss an execution. Buy or sell.
Putting in limit orders can cause you not to get an execution. Buy or sell. You get left out when one runs off and leaves you going up and it can go much lower for a sell and increasing your losses.
