NC is absolutely beautiful.....i've hiked the blue ridge, pisgah and smokies

ashville is a great visit and greenville riverwalk area is a nice visit as well....

great golf too...got beaches too for those that like the sun...so much more...

and that from someone who's never lived there...

You have got to be kidding me! I am right here on the NC coast. It is 12 December and I was still harvesting tomatoes and peppers yesterday. Some of the very best scuba diving in the world, yes world (and don't any of you from Florida and Hawaii chime in because in the last four year NC has outshone you in just about every category). And to top it off they still allow drinking and smoking inside the bars and clubs here! (not like in the freezing gutter when I last visited NY and NJ)
