Most of the hydrocarbon discoveries in the Gulf of Guinea are oil discoveries. In an area as large as the JDZ it would be improbable to just discover pure gas fields.
My bet is we have either an extension of the Akpo field with commercial amounts of condensate and light oil or oil fields. Large amounnts of natural gas may also be present.
The liquids produced will be the deciding factor in determining whether the JDZ is commercial.
