i'd rather be red than dead-- when i was young that was an easy one to answer--someting to do with youthful virility. now i am really vacillating --Kerry the incoherent vs Bush the incompetent. i still go with bush and pray for competency to come to bush because i hate the pandering of kerry.

By the way, I sent her the silly joke about the light bulb that you posted. I found it funny, especially given the fact that we had a bunch of these jokes back in Russia about communists, policemen etc. She was offened big time. I suspect, again, same problem - hard to argue. And when it's hard to argue, feeling offended may be a good defence.
