just cash out of some stocks then fund etrade you can get cash then transfer the cash to new account while waiting for close.this is the fastest way would take 1 day

I am going to transfer my account too. Just afraid if I do it right now this thing will spike up while in the transition mode. Not sure what to do except that I know I am getting out of scottrade. More than once I have wanted to purchase a stock only to find they has restricted it and I just had to sit and watch it go up for days.
