Well, people smoke clove cigarettes, and while I'm not a smoker now, I would have at least tried these cactus ciggys back in my smoking days to see what they were like.
Also- they're not jumping into these cactus ciggys blind- they did months of consumer trials and tweaking- so I have to believe they wouldn't bother with the production and additional land purchase if they didn't have good results from the trials.
